Legal # Terms of Service The terms under which this website and the SallaData dataset files are provided. Last updated 24 October 2026 These terms govern your use of salladata.com and of any SallaData dataset file you buy or download, including the free sample. By using the website or downloading a file, you agree to them. What you may and may not do with the store records is set out in more detail in the [Data Use Policy](/data-use/), which forms part of these terms. ## 1. The product SallaData sells a downloadable dataset of stores running on the Salla e-commerce platform. Each purchase is a dated snapshot delivered as CSV, Excel and JSON files, with a README of column definitions and coverage. There is no subscription, no API and no account: you pay once and download the files. The records are compiled from public sources, including the stores' own Salla storefronts and Salla's Mahally marketplace. How the dataset is built is described in the [methodology](/methodology/). SallaData is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Salla. ## 2. Purchase and payment Datasets are sold through Gumroad, which processes your payment and delivers the download. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. If anything goes wrong with a purchase or a download, email [me@kirwako.dev](mailto:me@kirwako.dev) and we will look into it. Because the dataset is a digital download, sales are final and we do not offer returns or change-of-mind refunds. If a file you bought is corrupted, incomplete or does not match its description, email us and we will send a corrected file or refund your purchase. ## 3. Licence Subject to payment and to these terms, the files you buy are licensed to you, on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis, for your own business use — research, analysis, segmentation and lawful outreach. The free sample is licensed on the same terms for evaluating the dataset. Unless covered by a separate written licence from SallaData, you may not resell, sublicense, share, redistribute or publish the dataset or any substantial extract of it, give it to another organisation, or use it to build a competing dataset or directory product. Team, agency and redistribution licences are available on request. Publishing aggregate findings that cite SallaData as the source is permitted, as described in the Data Use Policy. ## 4. Acceptable use You may not use the dataset to send unsolicited bulk messages in breach of applicable law, to harass any merchant or individual, to try to identify or profile individuals beyond the business information supplied, or in any way that breaches the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), anti-spam rules or other applicable regulation. ## 5. Your responsibility for personal data Some records belong to sole traders or freelancers, and their published business contacts are personal data under the PDPL. Once you download the files, you decide how the data is used, and you are responsible for using it lawfully — including having a lawful basis for any outreach, identifying yourself, and honouring opt-out requests. The Data Use Policy sets out these obligations. ## 6. What "verified" means, and accuracy "Verified" means each store in the dataset was confirmed to be running on Salla in October 2026. It does not mean that every field value has been checked. Contact details, business registration numbers and other fields are recorded as the store published them and are not individually validated, the category is assigned by SallaData and may be wrong for some stores, and coverage of the Salla platform is not complete. Stores open, close and change their details without notice, so the dataset will go out of date. It is provided "as is", without any warranty that it is complete, current or error-free. You are responsible for validating information before relying on it for a commercial decision. ## 7. Breach If you breach these terms or the Data Use Policy, your licence to use the dataset ends, and you must stop using it and delete your copies, except where the law requires you to keep them. ## 8. Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the dataset is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from your reliance on the dataset. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. ## 9. Changes We may update these terms. The last-updated date above will change when we do. The terms in force when you made a purchase continue to apply to that purchase unless the law requires otherwise; continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. ## 10.
