Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and which other services receive data when you use it.
This policy covers salladata.com, the public website, and is published by SallaData. It describes personal data about visitors and people who contact us. The store records in the dataset itself are covered by the Data Use Policy.
The custom data request form
The home page has a form for requesting custom data, a recurring feed or a team licence. If you submit it, we receive:
- your name and email address;
- your company, if you enter it;
- the plan or option you are interested in, and the description of the stores you want to reach, if you enter it;
- two technical fields filled in automatically: the button that brought you to the form and the page you sent it from.
We use these details only to answer your request and, if it leads to one, to manage the resulting business relationship. The form is delivered by Formspree, which receives the submission and forwards it to us by email; Formspree's own privacy policy applies to its handling. We keep form submissions and related emails as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and delete them on request unless we need to keep them by law.
Nothing is sent unless you press the submit button. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to put in that email and handle it the same way.
Buying the dataset
Checkout happens on Gumroad, not on this website. Gumroad collects your payment and delivery details and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive the order information Gumroad provides to sellers, such as your email address and what you bought, and use it to deliver the purchase and deal with any problem with it.
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity records session replays — a reconstruction of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — along with heatmaps and aggregate usage metrics. To do this it sets cookies and processes your IP address, browser, device and approximate location. Text typed into form fields is masked by Clarity and is not captured in replays.
Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity keeps recordings for a limited period set by Microsoft; we do not export or separately store session data.
Opting out: Clarity does not respond to the browser Do Not Track setting. You can opt out
by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, by selecting Microsoft on the Digital Advertising
Alliance opt-out page at optout.aboutads.info, or by blocking cookies or
clarity.ms in your browser. The site works normally either way.
Fonts
Typefaces are served from salladata.com itself. No third-party font service is contacted when you load a page.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent information about website visitors.
- We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
- We do not build visitor profiles or attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics.
- We do not combine website analytics or form submissions with the store dataset.
Legal basis
We process form submissions and emails to respond to your request and take steps you ask for before any agreement, and analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.
Your rights
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and equivalent rights under GDPR where it applies to you, you may request access to personal data relating to you, request correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis.
