Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what it does not, and who else receives data when you visit.

Last updated

This policy covers salladata.com, the public website. It describes the website only. Data held inside the SallaData product, and the merchant records in the dataset itself, are covered by the Data Use Policy.

What the website collects directly

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no contact forms on this website. It sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. If you contact us, you do so by email, and we receive whatever you choose to put in that email.

Third-party services that run on this site

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity records session replays — a reconstruction of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — along with heatmaps and aggregate usage metrics. To do this it sets cookies and processes your IP address, browser, device and approximate location. Because there are no forms or logins on this site, no credentials or personal details are entered here for it to capture.

Microsoft acts as an independent controller for this data. Its handling is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Google Fonts

Typefaces are requested from Google's font servers. Making that request discloses your IP address and browser details to Google. No cookies are set by this request.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent information about website visitors.
  • We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
  • We do not build visitor profiles or attempt to identify individual visitors.
  • We do not combine website analytics with the merchant dataset.

Legal basis and retention

Analytics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site. Retention is governed by Microsoft Clarity's own retention schedule; we do not export or separately store session data.

Your rights

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and equivalent rights under GDPR where it applies to you, you may request access to personal data relating to you, request correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis.

To exercise any of these, email hello@salladata.com. You can also opt out of Clarity tracking by enabling Do Not Track or blocking clarity.ms in your browser; the site works normally either way.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new last-updated date. This page has no version history yet because it is the first published version.
