Terms of Service
The terms under which this website and SallaData dataset access are provided.
These terms govern your use of salladata.com and any SallaData dataset access granted to you. By using the website or accessing the dataset, you agree to them. Specific restrictions on what you may do with the data are set out separately in the Data Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
1. The service
SallaData provides structured business information about stores operating on the Salla e-commerce platform, supplied as dataset exports and, on selected plans, through an API. SallaData is an independent research product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Salla.
2. Access and accounts
Dataset access is granted per agreement. Access credentials are issued to a single organisation and may not be shared outside it. You are responsible for activity carried out under your access.
3. Licence
Subject to payment and to these terms, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the dataset for your own internal business purposes — research, analysis, segmentation and lawful outreach — for the duration of your access period.
You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish the dataset or any substantial extract of it, or use it to build a competing dataset or directory product. Publishing aggregate findings that cite SallaData as the source is permitted and encouraged.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the dataset to send unsolicited bulk messages in breach of applicable law, to harass any merchant or individual, to attempt to identify individuals beyond the business information supplied, or in any way that breaches the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law or other applicable regulation. You may not circumvent rate limits, scrape the service, or attempt to extract records beyond your plan's allowance.
5. Accuracy and coverage
The dataset is compiled from sources that change without notice. We make no warranty that it is complete, current or error-free, and we do not represent it as a verified census of the Salla platform. Coverage and field availability vary and are documented in the methodology. The dataset is provided on an “as is” basis.
You are responsible for validating information before relying on it for a commercial decision.
6. Fees
Prices shown on the website are indicative. The fees, record allowances and available fields that apply to you are those confirmed in writing when access is granted. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where continued supply would place us in breach of law or of an obligation to a source. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current access period.
On termination, the licence in section 3 ends. You must stop using the dataset and delete it, except where retention is required by law or where the data has been irreversibly aggregated into published findings.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from your reliance on the dataset.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to active customers, and the last-updated date above will change. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of Saudi Arabia have exclusive jurisdiction.
